What happened to my human tribe
What ever happened to those days
We all danced under the stars
And felt alive

We sit together now in isolation
With time to sleep but no time to dream
Don't look nobody in the eyes
Cause everything you need
Is right there on your screen

We're all lost
Trying to find our way
Through that dark maze
Of the mind
Isn't love just a silly phrase
Or could it be
The only way out alive

And so I'm searching for salvation
From all these days that never start
From just going through the motions
From all the pretty masks
And lonely broken hearts

You know I'm clawing for a fraction
Some deeper meaning in this life
Instead of just coping through distractions
And hoping that I make it
Through the night

Some days you'd rather just stay in bed
While all of your demons point and laugh
